I have given out a list of questions to Hashtag United fans and these are the responses.
Callum Glanville
1.What made you turn your interest in Hashtag United?
Hashtag United offer a unique style of football which no other club give. They have used their platform (youtube) to showcase their journey in non league football. I have always been a big fan of Spencer, who is the chairman of hashtag, however was previously a player throughout “chapter 1”. My passion for football and youtube have both been merged with Hashtag, which is shown as I am part of a collaboration channel called “Hashtag Superfans”
2.What player do you mostly look forward to seeing online or at the games ?
I haven’t got a favourite player or someone who I am so excited to see play, however on his day, Joshua Osude is very exciting to watch. His pace is incredible.
3.What’s your favourite memory so far watching Hashtag United?
As part of the superfans, I have been lucky enough to be apart of the incredible journey. There has been many great moments, some that stand out are; going on BT Sport, playing for Hashtag Sunday team in an inter club friendly, the hashtag awards at Youtube Space. However, my favourite memory has to be the league winning game at Hackney Wick. Not only was it an incredible atmosphere and evening, but it was also my birthday!

1. What made you turn your interest in Hashtag United?
I used to watch Spencer FC and this video just popped up , it said making my own football team. So I clicked on it , since then I’ve loved them ever since.
2. What player do you mostly look forward to seeing online or at the games?
Im a centre back so I like to watch Farai Tsingano, as he’s very comfortable on the ball and always puts his body on the line. I find this very inspirational for a young player who’s trying to improve.
3. What’s your favourite memory so far at Hashtag United?
My favourite memory was when we won the league and the Superfans and I went crazy, didn’t stop chanting throughout the game which gave the players a big boost.
Matthew Napier
1. What made you turn your interest in Hashtag United?
I started first turn my interest into Hashtag United which is the first ever game on Spencer FC channel where they faced Dream Team FC and won the game, and every time they score, I shouted yes! to my phone. The divisions are great idea from Seb cos it make the game more entertaining and wanting me to supporting the boys to do well for every game. And they won all 5 divisions which is amazing for them. Plus the Wemebly Cup as well. Then, when Spencer announced Hashtag are going to nonleague and I see this is an opportunity for me to watch my second favourtive football club.
2. What player do you most look forward to seeing online or at the games?
The players I mostly likely to look forwards to my first ever Hashtag game is Spencer, Jack Harrison and Ryan Adams because I follow and trust the owner and the captain of this club.
3. What’s your favourite memory so far at Hashtag United?
My favourite memory of Hashtag United (and I telling you, nothing can top this) is the final whistle of Hackney vs Hashtag game and we won the league!!! Me and my friends (Superfans) ran on the field and celebrate with the players and I felt they are my second family to look up to.
